Founded in 2008 by designer and creative director Sally Lapointe, Lapointe came to Driver with a clear objective: to strategically grow and amplify their direct-to-consumer ecommerce business after experiencing extraordinary wholesale success. With an emphasis on maintaining the brands distinguished design integrity, Driver developed a custom Shopify mobile-first website, prioritizing conversion, order value, usability and site speed.

    With such a strong and declarative creative point of view it was critical that the brand's digital flag ship embody creative director Sally Lapointe's design sensibility without compromise, while being performant and functional and satiating business needs.     With over 74% of all active users coming from mobile devices and with a highly engaged social media audience, every design and build decision prioritized, and was optimized for the mobile experience.

    As a multi-category and color driven brand, Lapointe customers have a broad product assortment to choose from. Easy and quick user paths to find what you're looking for was a critical objective. We built dynamic custom filters serving relevant subcategories while creating global color families to house the brand's expansive and nuanced palette.

    Shop By Color

    A dedicated landing page to explore and shop Lapointe's world of color was an important statement for launch. We applied a monochromatic visual treatment to the daring bold palette encouraging users to shop by color and build head to toe coordinated looks.

    Product Sliders

    Many of the site's modules including product cards have the ability to toggle on and off slider functionality - maintaining the brand's clean and minimal aesthetic while allowing users to discover and view additional images and content.
