H&M Williamsburg

H&M Williamsburg

H&M launched its first experiential retail project, H&M Williamsburg, to build authentic consumer connections, allowing fashion lovers to explore locally curated programming and curated capsule collection drops. The year long initiative bridged the gap between IRL and the digital world. In partnership with our friends at experiential agency The Gathery, Driver Digital designed and built the program’s digital offering.

Custom solutions for advanced business logic

In support of a very unique and tailored experience, Driver partnered closely with H&M and The Gathery to strategize, roadmap and execute technical solutions for all desired business logic. In a two phase approach a custom built static site was closely followed by a full Wordpress build.

    Localization & Community

With a goal of highlighting and supporting local businesses critical to the DNA of Brooklyn New York's Williamsburg neighborhood, the initiative featured rotating monthly partners and event recaps across culture, culinary, art and design.

Built To Hold In Your Hand

Designed for New Yorkers and visitors on the go, needing to interact with maps, event schedules and access digital tickets in real time, all design, UX and dev decisions were made with the mobile user at the forefront.

    Interactive Map

We built an interactive map of Williamsburg highlighting the location, contact information and description of all local participating partners.

    Event Calendar

A dynamic event calendar allowed users to view in store activities, RSVP, receive and store digital QR code tickets and manage communication preferences.

  • Speed of Delivery

With an aggressive and truncated timeline due to a business pivot, Driver fast-tracked a custom static html teaser site in time for critical holiday awareness media and marketing efforts. The full experience shortly followed and was built on Wordpress.
