Goyal of New York City’s haute Indian cuisine restaurant Sona, introduced Sona Home – a sophisticated global collection of fine china, linens and accessories. Driver was engaged to deliver brand identity, ecommerce strategy and to design and develop the brand’s new digital flagship.

    Branding & Identity

    Extending the foundational identity of the Sona restaurant and culinary experience into an expanding portfolio brand now encompassing homeware and tabletop, Driver leveraged the brand's core story and culture, while infusing a vibrant and celebratory color palette, type system and iconography to the brand extension.

    A Visual Language

    Hospitable and bold colors, augmented by a calmer palette on product listing and detail pages along with geometric signatures like the archway, established the visual language for the mobile first site.

    Content Strategy

    As a celebrity backed brand, Driver had the challenge of creating a system and hierarchy of expression for combining content and commerce - from detailed product data with nuanced sizes, materials and specifications, with culturally rich and tradition specific storytelling from the world of Priyanka Chopra and her co-founder.
